Hi, let me introduce myself, being a Realtor is my retirement career and it's the best decision I have ever made. I was in Accounting since I earned my Associate Degree is Specialized Accounting when I was 20, meticulous attention to detail has been a cornerstone of my approach. I thrive on the art of negotiation and extend to all my clients the warmth and loyalty I would offer my best friend. Transitioning into real estate has been a remarkable choice, allowing me to accumulate valuable certifications such as the MRP (Military Relocation Professional), ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designations. Among these, the SRES has been particularly instrumental, aligning with my personal stage of life and prompting a proactive approach to planning ahead. It's an honor to have been recognized as Abbitt Realty’s "Realtor of the Year" for 2023, a testament to my unwavering commitment and dedication. Beyond real estate, my engagement in community endeavors is a source of great fulfillment. Past roles as the President of Westview Lakes HOA, commissioner of the Hampton Soccer Club, and as a Board Member of the Virginia Rush Boosters. I can drive you to just about any soccer field in the area. I prefer to help clients on the Peninsula side of the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel because I don't like being late to appointments. But I will drive to the Southside I just know I’ll be half an hour early or half an hour late. Since entering the real estate world at the close of 2020, my journey has been marked by steady growth and accomplishment. Balancing real estate with my Controller position in 2021, I facilitated the successful closure of 8 homes for my clients. However, it was the decision to retire from the corporate sphere in early 2022 that enabled me to fully devote myself to real estate, culminating in 10 home closures and earning me Ace Status with Abbitt Realty. Though narrowly missing the mark in 2023, assisting 9 clients underscored my continued dedication to excellence. One of the most rewarding aspects of my real estate career is the flexibility it affords me to give back to the community. Whether it's volunteering with PORT, Habitat for Humanity, United Way Day of Caring, Toys for Tots, Abbitt Realty's Annual Shredding Event, or supporting the Foodbank.
