SRES® in Canada
The National Association of REALTORS® offers the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) Course for Canadian markets.
In Canada, nearly half of the population is over 50 years old. Their homes are their largest asset, accounting for most of their net worth.
The two-day SRES® course helps REALTORS® in Canada better understand and address the unique real estate needs of seniors. During the two-day course, which is offered online or in a live classroom, you will:
- Connect to the largest North American network of REALTORS® specializing in seniors ages 50+
- Gain access to exclusive marketing materials and education
- Have an online profile located on the member site as well as our consumer site (sres.org) seen by thousands of unique visitors weekly
- Receive exclusive access to consumer resources, professional marketing materials, information on emerging trends, and much more
The SRES® Course may also count as your elective requirement if you're working on your ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation.
Join the SRES® Council by completing the SRES® Designation Course and paying a one-time application fee. Once you’ve earned the SRES® Designation you will also be an International REALTOR® Member of NAR for the balance of that calendar year. Maintaining your NAR International REALTOR® Membership with ONE yearly fee will keep all of your NAR Designations and Certifications active. Please note that if your International REALTOR® Membership goes inactive, so will your SRES® Designation.
