SRES® in Canada

The National Association of REALTORS® offers the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) Course for Canadian markets.

In Canada, nearly half of the population is over 50 years old. Their homes are their largest asset, accounting for most of their net worth.

The two-day SRES® course helps REALTORS® in Canada better understand and address the unique real estate needs of seniors. During the two-day course, which is offered online or in a live classroom, you will:

  • Connect to the largest North American network of REALTORS® specializing in seniors ages 50+
  • Gain access to exclusive marketing materials and education
  • Have an online profile located on the member site as well as our consumer site (sres.org) seen by thousands of unique visitors weekly
  • Receive exclusive access to consumer resources, professional marketing materials, information on emerging trends, and much more

The SRES® Course may also count as your elective requirement if you're working on your ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation.

Students who complete this course and pass the exam will become members with the SRES® Council, provided they maintain membership with the Canadian Real Estate Association. The first year of membership with the SRES® Council ($99) is collected as part of the fee of this course. Thereafter, annual dues of $99 USD are required to maintain use of the SRES® designation.
